Clikit Media DKIM Setup

DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail) is an email authentication method that uses cryptographic keys to verify that emails are authorized and haven’t been tampered with during transit.

This guide explains how to set up DKIM for Clikit Media, an email marketing provider serving businesses and agencies across Africa.

Clikit DKIM Requirements

Important:

DKIM must be generated and enabled by Clikitmedia. You will receive a DKIM record that should be uploaded to your DNS settings or managed via Sendmarc’s platform.

To initiate DKIM setup, send an email to Clikitmedia using the following format:

To: [email protected]
Subject: Enable DKIM Signing

Dear Clikitmedia,

Please will you generate, add, and enable DKIM signing on the following domain(s):

    yourdomain.com

Once it has been added to my domain, please let me know.

Kind Regards,

Step 2: Add the DKIM Key in Sendmarc

Once Clikitmedia sends you the DKIM record:

  1. Log into your DNS or into Sendmarc’s DKIM Key Manager

  2. Publish the key.

  3. Let Clikit know the key has been published.

Note:

  • Do not include quotation marks (") in the DKIM value.
  • Remove the final semicolon (;) if one is present.
