DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail) is an email authentication protocol that adds a cryptographic signature to your outgoing messages. This helps ensure that emails haven’t been altered during delivery and confirms they were sent from your domain.
This guide will show you how to set up DKIM for SYNAQ Securemail, a cloud-based email security and archiving solution that protects your organization’s communications.
Securemail uses a generic DKIM record to sign all outgoing emails from its platform. Instead of generating a custom DKIM key per domain, SYNAQ handles the signing using a shared key. This simplifies setup, as no manual DKIM key generation or DNS configuration is required from your side—just ensure DKIM is enabled in your Securemail settings.
