DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail) adds a digital signature to your outgoing emails, allowing recipients to verify that the messages were sent from your domain and haven’t been altered in transit. Enabling DKIM strengthens your domain’s email security and improves deliverability.
Xneelo, formerly known as Hetzner South Africa, offers email hosting services that support DKIM signing through their web hosting control panel or custom DNS setup.
This guide will show you how to set up DKIM for your domain when using xneelo email services.
To enable DKIM signing, you’ll need to send an email to their support team. Below is an example of the content of the mail you can use.
Subject: Enable DKIM Signing
Body:
Dear Xneelo,
Please will you generate, add and enable DKIM signing on the following domain(s) hosted with Hetzner (Xneelo):
<< domain.com >>
Once it has been added to my domain, please let me know.
Kind Regards,
* Please ensure that you change <domain.com>
to the correct domain before sending to Hetzner (Xneelo).
Xneelo will provide you with a DKIM key which you can add to your DNS. Add the key, then let the Xneelo team know it has been published.
Note: When loading the DKIM key into Sendmarc DKIM Key Manager, do not include quotation marks, and remove the final semicolon if present.
To update your DKIM record through Sendmarc, please refer to the Sendmarc DKIM Setup Documentation.
