SPF (Sender Policy Framework) is an email authentication method that helps prevent spoofing by verifying that Orrto is allowed to send emails on your domain’s behalf. Proper SPF setup improves email deliverability and reduces the risk of messages being flagged as spam.
Orrto (formerly Autopilot) is a customer journey automation platform that enables businesses to run personalized email campaigns.
This guide will show you how to configure SPF for your domain when using Orrto.
Note: If you’re already using Sendmarc for SPF management, simply copy ‘include:spf.autopilothq.com’ and follow the steps here.
To authorize Orrto to send emails on your domain’s behalf:
Example of an updated SPF record:
Host | Type | Value |
---|---|---|
@ or blank | TXT | v=spf1 include:another.net include:spf.autopilothq.com ~all |
Example of a new SPF record:
Host | Type | Value |
---|---|---|
@ or blank | TXT | v=spf1 include:spf.autopilothq.com ~all |
Allow up to 48 hours for DNS propagation, depending on your DNS host.
